Alicante Beaches
The Costa Blanca or the “White Coast” is a more than 160 kilometers coastline of splendid natural beauty and diversity, and of course, wonderful beaches. The temperature is generally mild – the annual average being slightly higher than 17ºC – with little rainfall. A top tourist destination, it sports several resorts packed with all the facilities to satisfy the requirements of tourists of every age. The landscape comprises of mountains, hidden coves, and the combination of almond tree fields, vineyards, orchards and magnificient palm trees.

The beaches of Costa Blanca are beautiful with fine golden sands, and clean surroundings. The clean and first-rate beaches have been recognized by the European Union by awarding the Blue Flag to the beaches here. There are the facilities and installations on all the beaches to make the experience enjoyable and safe. There are facilities ranging from parking, showers, volleyball nets, beach bars, pedal boat hire, to children's playgrounds, etc. There are also life guards, and Red Cross booths for the assistance of the tourists.
There are also restaurants offering fresh seafood in addition to cuisines from all over the world. If you are looking for more than just the beaches, there are a host of sporting activities on offer. Nautical activities such as short boat trips to the nearby areas, sailing, sailing lessons etc are also available here.
The beaches located in the city of Alicante are very famous and at high season, there are crowds of people throughout the day. The popular beaches among the tourists are:
San Juan, Albufereta, Postiguet, Saldar Urbanova, Levante, El Arenal and Cabo de las Huertas
Apart from the capital Alicante, towns such as Elche, Javea,Benidorm, Santa Pola, and Calpe are located along the Costa Blanca.
