Alicante is classically Spanish with a historic quarter, ancient monuments, museums, fiestas, plenty of sunshine and a spectacular landscape complemented by its beautiful beaches. The second largest city of the Autonomous Community of Valencia, Alicante is the capital of the province of Alicante. It is situated in the spectacular Costa Blanca facing the Mediterranean Ocean. The average temperature in winter does not fall below 16° C. In summer the average is around 32 ºC.
